The people of Babel are thrown into confusion when their language is confounded because of their wickedness. The only people left untouched, the Prophet Mahonri Moriancumer and his followers, gather outside the city and prepare to travel to a distant place where they can worship God in peace. But they cannot go until Akish, the son of Leah, joins them, so David is sent to find him.

As young David returns to the city to seek Akish, the last thing he expects is to find anyone left who speaks his language. But he finds himself face-to-face with the beautiful Nimtalia, a lame girl whom he has never seen among the followers of the Prophet.

About the Author

A native of Duchesne County, Utah, Clair M. Poulson is a retired county sheriff and part-time judge for the justice court. Clair and his wife of twenty-five years, Ruth, are the parents of five children. Clair enjoys reading, running, and raising a variety of livestock on his farm.

He is the author of two previously published novels, Samuel, Moroni's Young Warrior and Samuel, Gadianton's Foe.
