That I Were an Angel - Robert H. Moss

One of The Nephite Chronicle Series, That I Were an Angel is the story of Alma, the Younger, a Book of Mormon prophet. As a youth, Alma rebelled against his father and the established church. As an adult, he became the leader of the church and the Nephite nation. This intriguing work of fiction seeks to answer the questions: Why did Alma rebel against his father? What was his process of repentance? Why did it take an angel to turn him back to family and church? This is his history, told by himself, shedding light on rebellious youth in all ages of time.
